T33TH

  SEE SPACES by TEETH

In march, I was lucky enough to catch T33TH supporting New Young Pony Club, amongst a crowd of around 30 or so fans, and frankly, they outshone the headliners.
Singer Veronica danced like a manic spinning top, off the stage, on the venue's floor, drummer Simon battered the kit with his disco-influenced beats and melody maker Ximon made crushing synth sounds on his laptop. This is one small drop in the current wave of simplistic electronic music, but one that is certain to get alot more airplay in the future.

John Grant

For every person there is an album each year which they love but seems to be relatively overlooked by most. John Grant's Queen of Denmark is mine, in which 16 very brilliant, yet very different songs are produced to perfection. From jokey Flight of the Concords-esque tunes "That's the Good News" and "Supernatural defibrillator" to serious, gentle folk tunes "I wanna go to Marz" and "It's Easier", none disappoint.

Here's I wanna go to Marz:
